| House Details: Our home is a high-set Queenslander set on almost 2 acres. We have three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is open to the living and dining area and our lovely veranda. The veranda looks out over the backyard and is a great place to watch the sunset and re-live your game! |

Ah, so many to choose from! Mt Coolum Golf Club is our home course and our favourite. You can view each hole at mtcoolumgolf.com. We think we have the nicest course and the best members in the area. For those who enjoy resort style courses, we have three to choose from: Coolum Hyatt (home of the Australian PGA), Noosa Springs and Twin Waters. All are less than a twenty minute drive. Other courses in the area include Tewantin Noosa, Cooroy, Headland, Nambour, Horton Park, and Caloundra.
Our area
We are situated in a very peaceful neighbourhood that is a short bike ride to some of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. Noosa, with its trendy restaurants and shopping district is a quick drive up the coast and Lake Weyba, a two minute stroll up the street, is a lovely place to fish or just enjoy a quiet boat ride.
About ourselves
We are Yaussies (Yankee/Aussies) who first arrived in Australia in 1972 and returned in 2002. Michael is 63 and I am 52. We are both golfers but also enjoy sailing. We have two boys who are 12 and 14. They play golf but not as much as we do, and also enjoy rugby and music. |
