| House Details: Our 2 bedroom riverfront home has an open plan living and dining area, fully equipped modern kitchen, three bathrooms, separate laundry, garage and reverse cycle air-conditioning.
A large deck with a gas BBQ makes the perfect area for al-fresco dining, relaxing with a drink and watching the boats go by.
Our home has monitored security television(free to air and cable), stereo, DVD, radio, video and broadband internet access.
Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed and ensuite with a spa bath and Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and separate bathroom. Both bedrooms open on to a balcony overlooking the river.

The Palms at Sanctuary Cove is currently undergoing an extensive upgrade and will be playable in 2010.
Queensland has a great climate for golf and wildlife abounds on our courses. There are also dozens of courses in the Brisbane region which is less than an hour's drive away.
Two hours drive to the north is the Sunshine coast which is also famous as a prestige golfing destination.
Our area
Sanctuary Cove is a unique and exclusive place to live. It is located between the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
We are both very active and love to play golf. We also enjoy walking and taking our golf buggy to the Village to meet our friends for a coffee. The village has many restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques as well as newsagent, doctor, chemist and post office etc. It also has a large marina.
There is a great variety of wildlife at Sanctuary Cove - many different birds and families of kangaroos live on our golf courses.
About ourselves
My wife and I are both keen golfers and play at least 4 times weekly.
I am a retired pilot and Jenny, my wife, was a teacher of the deaf, but is now also retired.
We have recently done a house swap to Phoenix Arizona, which was our first - and it was highly successful.
We intend to do another exchange in the future, and would like it to be golf friendly as well as all the usual tourist activities. |
