| House Details: Our home is comfortable, clean, and open plan living. It has a large kitchen with new ceran cooktop and gaganau oven. It has a large verandah where you can have a BBQ or sit and watch the native birds in the garden. It has ferns in the back garden and native shrubs in the front garden. We have 4 bedrooms, a King sized bed in the main bedroom, a single bed with trundle in bedroom 2 and 3, and a Queen sized bed in bedroom 4. Bedroom 2, is set up as a computer room but has a single bed in it for our grandchildren when they visit. It has a table in the kitchen where you can eat or the adjoining dining room, both have beautiful garden views. |

Our area
Our house is 5 minute walk from the beach, and 12 min drive to the city centre which has very easy parking. Go for a 10 minute walk and you will arrive at very popular restaurants. 1-2 hr drive there are our wine regions, McLaren Vale, Barossa, and a little further on is the Clare Valley. We have the historic mining town of Burra which you can visit after Clare, and still get back in 1 day. I'll be happy to send you links to all the tourist spots in our lovely State, and include a web site showing our immediate local area, if you are interested.
About ourselves
My husband Piero is recently retired. I was a teacher and now spend my free time working on photos and videos to make slideshows and dvds of our travels and grandchildren. Peter was a marine engineer and has a hobby of collecting marine artifacts. We have experienced exchanges and found it to work out extremely well, and thoroughly recommend it. When we go to someone else's home we have been made to feel totally at home, as have the people who have gone into our home. I can assure you, you will be truly happy with our home and surroundings. We would definitely treat your home with respect and leave it exactly the way we found it. We love travelling, and all it brings. Walking, visiting local food markets, meeting local people to learn their traditions, to cook regional foods. |
