| House Details: Our home was built in 2006 and is modern and open plan. There are 3 bedrooms all with queen size and double beds as well as a fold out double in the theatre room. The main has a huge ensuite with a second bathroom and separate toilet. There is a TV/Plasma room, separate home theatre, huge family room, study and two outside deck areas overlooking established gardens. |

The two courses at Sandhurst are different in style. The North course is a links style design with the wind being the courses greatest defence. The Champions course meanders through housing to some extent on the south side and is more parkland in style with native gums bordering some fairways. Pot bunkering, typical of Thomson designed courses, can be found on both courses.
Within forty-five minutes of Sandhurst you will find over 50 courses most of which are excellent layouts and all in mint condition despite the current lack of rain in Victoria.
Our area
Our home is on the Sandhurst estate which features two 18 hole championship courses designed by Peter Thomson. The estate also houses a terrific clubhouse, fitness centre with pool, gym and tennis courts and walking tracks.
It's about 30-40 minutes from the Melbourne CBD and is on the boundary of Melbourne's famous sandbelt area home to probably the best collection of golf courses in the world. We are also only 40 minutes from the seaside towns of Sorrento and Portsea.
About ourselves
A golf tragic some would say. I own a golf driving range and an event management company that, amongst other things, organises golf tours into and out of Australia. Both Lorraine and I (Ian ) play and our two sons Chris (22) and Michael (19) play off scratch and 18 respectively.
We are non smokers and have no pets. |
