Mt. Edgecombe No. 1 is very walkable and very pleasant to play. Mt. Edgecombe No. 2 is cart only but also pleasant to play. Durban Country Club is No. 4 in South Africa and over the road from the sea. A real classic and a good challenge. There are many other courses within 1 hours drive which are high quality and inexpensive.
Our area
One of the best Residential Golf Estates in South Africa. Estate 1 has 280 houses and Course no.1 (Walking and cart course). Estate 2 has many more houses and Course no. 2. (cart only course). About 5Km from Umhlanga Rocks seaside resort. About 20Km from Durban, the 3rd largest city in South Africa
About ourselves
We are a family of 5 who live in Johannesburg and have owned this second home for 14 years. We spend June and July ( winter) at Mt. Edgecombe and our grown up children use it in December (main holiday season). We are retired and both play golf regularly. |
