The golf courses are too numerous to mention, and I have enough on my plate just playing the three within the resort, but if you check out Tucson on the internet, it has at least six municipal courses. Resorts usually require that you stay there to play there, but if you are a member in another private club, you may very well be able to book times at La Paloma, Dove Canyon and many more I can't think of right now.

Our area
Saddlebrooke Golf Resort is in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains, at about 3500 feet. The beautiful Sonoran Desert surrounds it. Tucson is 15 miles to the southeast, a "big small town" rather than a city. There is a university and theater and many places to dine, as well as many resort and public golf courses. Saddlebrooke is about an hour and a half from Phoenix, where there are even more golf courses. Within a day's trip are caverns, Mount Lemon, Tombstone, an old western town used in many movies, and Mexico.

About ourselves
I am a single woman who has just resumed traveling and playing golf, and am looking for ways to do both without spending a fortune. I have a beautiful laborador/retriever mix, but would leave her with friends -- everyone loves her, so that's easy. I would probably be traveling with one or two friends, but if you want to come and stay at my place when I can't get away, that would be a possibility. I love meeting new people, especially who play golf! I hate to mention my age, but I guess people care about that sort of thing: I'm 66 years old and have been retired since 2002.
Note: The location shown on Google Maps is of the city and not the exact street address to protect the customers privacy.
