| House Details: Private home in Salisbury, MD. Located on the Wicomico River, which has access to the Chesapeake Bay. Has dock and pontoon. Main house has 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, and has an open floor plan with abundant wood, windows, and a fireplace and wood stove. Great room has baby grand piano. One of the bedrooms is furnished as an office. Outside stone patio has pond with waterfall. Also 8 person jacuzzi. Wooded 6.5 acre lot, with lots of privacy. Guest house is efficiency with full kitchen, bath, laundry and Murphy bed. |

Green Hill Golf course is a private club. It is beautifully maintained and peaceful. A few of the holes are quite challenging, and the environment is always relaxed and private. Many of the area golf courses are waterfront, including Green Hill, and take advantage of the beautiful view of rivers, bays, and the ocean.
Our area
Salisbury is a smaller city, the heart of the Eastern Shore of Maryland. It is a family oriented environment with good restaurants, a few museums, a minor league baseball team, and the Salisbury University. The main businesses are farming and tourism. It is 2 hours to Baltimore, Washington, Philadelphia, and Norfolk, so big city amenities are within easy reach. Ocean City Maryland is 30 miles away and provides a wide range of activities.
About ourselves
I am an emergency physician. I have a job in the Emergency Department in Gympie 9/2011 for 6 months, and plan on bringing my family of 2 kids, then ages 12 and 15. My husband is the golfer. |
