My favourite golf course is Douglas Park my home course. 5 mins drive from our house. Challenging with beautiful views over the Campsie Hills on the 1st nine holes and Glasgow City and farming land on the back nine holes.
Our area
We live in a conservation village called Milngavie, which is the starting point for the famous West Highland Way. (walk). Good local shops and restaurants We are spoilt by beautiful countryside, The Trossachs, Loch Lomond etc all within 40 mins drive. The train to Glasgow or Edinburgh is a 5 mins. walk from our house.
About ourselves
My husband is self employed business man. I am a part-time counsellor and we have been married for 35years. We are a young at heart and fit. We travelled the world for 7 months 5 years ago, by 'flash packing' covering Asia and South America. We have three grown up sons. We are very sociable and have a lot of friends who are golfers and would be pleased to make your aqaintence if you are fun and reasonable golfers!! |
