| House Details: We offer our second home, a cosy 2 bedroom cottage with 1.5 bathrooms, set on Conwy Marina in beautiful North Wales, home of mountains, golf courses and castles!
Situated opposite Conwy Golf Club (Welsh Club 2007) in a quiet cul, de sac with off road parking directly outside; fully equipped kitchen; downstairs bathroom; sitting room with comfortable sofas, Freeview TV, wi-fi, DVD, CD, dining area with table and 4 chairs; patio doors leading to enclosed outside area with outdoor furniture.
Upstairs is a double and twin bedrooms with triple wardrobes, bedside tables, lamps and mirror; twin bedroom with golf course views; bathroom with bath with shower over. |

Conwy Golf Club is a 2 minute walk to the first tee from the cottage. The Senior Ryder Cup was held here in 07 and 08. It has stunning views of the Irish Sea and is a challenging course.
There are 30 plus golf courses within a 30 minute car journey - all with views of the sea and mountains.
Our area
Situated on Conwy Marina in North Wales described as the gateway to Snowdonia (with the highest peak in England and Wales). Conwy Marina is home to Conwy Golf Club (Welsh Club 2007) and a few minutes walk to the beach and excellent marina pub.
Conwy is 1km or a pleasant 15 minute walk along the headland footpath with great views of Conwy Castle built in 1289 by Edward I. The medieval town has all amenities and excellent restaurants, pubs and fish & chip shops (best eaten sat on the quayside overlooking the harbour).
A journey in any direction takes you to stunning mountain scenery, empty beaches and numerous medieval castles.
Ireland is easily accessible by fast ferry in 90 minutes from Holyhead (40 minutes from Conwy).
HOW TO GET HERE:
Air: Liverpool or Manchester are both an easy 1 hour car journey.
Ferry: Holyhead for ferries to/from Ireland 40 minutes to Conwy
Car: Junction 17 off the A55
Train: Llandudno Junction with direct services from throughout the UK including London Euston in 3 hours (taxi office on site).
About ourselves
We are Anne and Stephen, both hovering around the half century mark. We are seasoned home exchangers with the US (severel times), Denmark and France under our belt. We run our health & hygiene business and holiday rentals companies from home (we cannot exchange June, July or August due to work commitments). We are non smokers and have no children.
A 4x4 can be part of the exchange also. |
