| House Details: The house is a 200 year old stone cottage converted from a barn. It is small but comfortable. There are two bedrooms, one bathroom with shower, a kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, hob and cooker. Lounge and sun room/dining room. It has central heating and a fire place. There is a small garden with patio table and chairs and parking space. The property is best suited to one couple or one couple and a single person. |

The Mariott St Pierre Golf and Country Club is just minutes away and has two 18 hole courses. The Ryder Cup 2010 course at the Celtic Manor Resort is just 20 minutes drive and has 3 courses. The Rolls of Monmouth 18 hole course is also 20minutes drive. This club is set in the grounds of the home of one of the co-founders of Roll Royce. There are many courses within one hour's drive, too many to list, as we are so accessible to the counties of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Bristol, Vale of Glamorgan and of course Monmouthshire all of which have golf courses.
WOULD CONSIDER AN EXCHANGE FOR THE RYDER CUP 2010 PERIOD END OF SEPTEMBER BEGINNING OF OCTOBER.
Our area
The village is near Chepstow in the Wye Valley. The village has a pub and a church but no shops. The town of Chepstow has a variety of shops, a historic Castle and a Race Course - home to the Welsh National. Access to the M4/M5 motorways is very close, and within one hour's drive is the City of Bath, also Cheltenham, the Cotswolds, Bristol and Cardiff, plus smaller towns such as the Vale of Usk and Monmouth are in close proximity.We are near the rivers Severn and Wye, and also the Forest of Dean.
About ourselves
My partner and I are both in retirement years although I still enjoy working in the Education Sector. We do not have pets and live in a smoke free home. We like to travel and have family overseas and in other parts of the UK. We are very busy people and at the moment time constrained due to working commitments. the Ryder Cup period for anyone who may wish to apply for tickets or who has already the option of tickets MAY BE A POSSIBILITY. |
